Where I stand...
Building strong families is at the core of a successful Midwest City.

We have wonderful people throughout our community. Unfortunately there are several areas in our neighborhood that are in need of attention. I want to introduce a revival of our great community and attract and keep those citizens that are committed to taking pride in their neighborhood. I am also dedicated to finding ways to help the elderly and those in need that are having problems maintaining their property on their own.

Family

Family, Community, Jobs

Developing and maintaining a strong Community infrastructure is essential.

A strong Community is centered around safety and comfort.  Everyone in some way has been impacted by crime. I believe that individuals that commit a crime should complete the penalty for that crime. In addition, I will implement a program that will address issues that lead to crime before the illegal activity occurs. This will include addressing drug addiction and the breakdown of families.

Providing areas for families and citizens is good for the city.  I am committed to leading underutilized property to be developed by business owners, or taking underutilized City property and finding appropriate uses for it.

Community

A responsible City Government needs to spend valuable resources wisely.  It is important to cut spending that does not bring desired results, and promote the use of taxpayer dollars to develop Families, the Community, and Jobs.

Economic development is vital to bringing quality jobs for MWC Residents.

Having a good job is at the core of success.  We need to continue to develop our economy to build quality jobs. This includes developing all areas of the City economically.  I place my confidence in the innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of our citizens. I believe that by building a pro-business environment we can grow and attract jobs.  This includes preventing barriers to entry and burdensome regulations.

It is imparative that the City be seen as pro business, and pro resident.  We have to foster healthy relationships with the businesses in the City to encourage other business owners to bring their companies to MWC.
